O’Neill Orthodontics is Ciara O’Neill’s orthodontic practice.
I am a specialist orthodontist. This means that I have completed postgraduate training in orthodontics after training as a dentist, and I am on the Specialist Register of the Dental Council of Ireland.
I studied dentistry in University College Cork (it seems like a long time ago!!) and then worked in the UK and Northern Ireland for four years as a general dentist.
I then was accepted onto a Masters Orthodontic training programme in Northwestern University in Chicago, USA.
Following graduation from Northwestern I took further training in Scotland and completed the MOrth qualification at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 1996.
Since then I have worked in Health Board orthodontic posts and private practice.
